Plastic Faucets

Plastic Faucets
  • Made of polyethylene or polyproplene (435)
  • Intially cost less
  • Can be installed without a wrench
  • Won't rust or corrode
  • Not as durable as metal - need replacing more often (cross threading can be a problem)
  • Not recommended for long-term contact with petroleum products or chlorinated solvents (use nylon or metal instead)
  • Never use them with flammable products
