When it comes to liquid dispensing products (pumps, faucets, meters, etc.) the most important question we ask is the obvious one: "What’s the liquid?" The right pump for your job depends a lot on the liquid to be pumped, along with other details, and there are lots of options to choose from. Our hand pumps are great for occasional, low volume jobs. Available in plastic and metal, they will handle a wide range of liquids and are good for pumping smaller amounts. The rotary or piston-style pumps are a better choice for medium-volume jobs. They give a steady flow of liquid with a lot less effort and can pump over longer distances and greater heights which is important when transferring motor oil or coolant from a drum to an engine. Some new rotary and piston pumps are all chemical-resistant plastic and can handle acids and caustics as well as most other chemicals. When pumping flammables OSHA regs and local fire ordinances require that you use a Factory Mutual Approved or UL-Listed pump. P55TS comes complete with grounding and bonding wires and is FM-approved. The right drum pump is an investment in productivity and safety, so choose wisely. If you have questions, Email us and we will get right back to you with more information.
